The Veronese Cartiere SACI paper mills are well known across Europe and specialize in production of packaging paper for industrial use, with recycle rates close to 100%.

REQUIREMENT

Steam and hot water are essential in paper processing cycles: steam obtained from flue gases, in addition to steam produced by boilers, is used to mix recycled paper fibers. Furthermore, the hot water from cooling system of the motor is used to pre-heat processing fluids and to heat the environment.

SOLUTION

SACI had been using a turbine cogenerator for some time, but adoption of ECOMAX® 27NGS, in a configuration specifically customized based on the customer’s needs, has allowed the company to make a fundamental quality leap, both in terms of performance and continuity of service.
