The Pfizer Group, one of the most important pharmaceutical giants in the world, has had a constant presence in Italy since 1955, with production plants in Ascoli Piceno (Marche) and Matera (Basilicata).

REQUIREMENT

Pfizer has always been extremely keen on the importance of environmental sustainability and workplace quality. Awareness of the advantages of cogeneration has brought Pfizer to seek the installation of a plant capable of meeting the production line demands of its Ascoli Piceno plant.

SOLUTION

AB has recommended that Pfizer install the ECOMAX® 18 NGS system, featuring a 1824 KW electricity yield, compared to the 2,000 initially hypothesized by the customer. The optimal features of the system, which AB has designed on the basis of its solid experience in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, have allowed Pfizer to achieve high performance in all operation parameters, at the same time reducing CO₂  emissions.
